Construction ERP

Construction ERP software for builders and contractors

An ERP for construction has to follow money that is committed long before it is spent: a purchase order raised on site, a contractor bill certified against measured work, material issued to a floor. E-Hishabi tracks all of it against the BOQ and posts it to the project's own books — built for builders and developers working in Bangladesh.

What it covers

From the bill of quantities to the final settlement

Every part of the construction side writes to one database, so a material issue on site changes the cost report, the stock position and the project ledger in the same movement.

BOQ and cost control

Load the bill of quantities per project, tower and work item, then watch budget against committed against actual as the job runs. An approved purchase order reduces the available budget the day it is raised — not the month it is paid — so an overrun appears while there is still work left to re-price.

Procurement built for a site

Purchase requisitions from the site, comparative quotations from your suppliers, purchase orders, goods receipt notes and supplier bills. Rod, cement, tiles and sanitary ware are tracked by item, rate and supplier rather than as one lump "materials" figure.

Site-wise store and material issue

Each site keeps its own store. Material issued to a floor or a work item is booked against that cost head, which is what makes consumption comparable to the BOQ instead of a number you reconstruct at year end.

Contractor and subcontractor billing

Work orders, running account bills against measured work, retention money, security deposit, mobilisation advance adjustment and final settlement — each certified before it is passed for payment, and each posting straight into the accounts.

Site labour and attendance

Muster roll and attendance per site, daily-rated and monthly staff, overtime and wage payments, all costed to the project they worked on rather than to a single overhead account.

Project accounting, not just bookkeeping

Double-entry books per project and per company, with VAT, AIT and TDS applied in the transaction. Cost per square foot, project profitability and cash position come out of the same ledger your auditor works from.

Why a generic ERP struggles

Construction breaks the assumptions a standard ERP system is built on

Most ERP software companies sell a manufacturing or trading core with a project module bolted on and call it an ERP system for construction. It works until the first running account bill.

  • A generic ERP prices a job when it is invoiced. Construction commits money at the purchase order and certifies it at the measurement — months earlier.
  • Stock in a warehouse has one location. Material on a project sits across several sites and gets issued to a floor and a work item, not to a customer order.
  • A standard payables module pays a bill. A contractor bill is a running account with retention, advance adjustment and a certified quantity behind it.
  • Off-the-shelf accounting has no concept of a landowner share, a joint venture ratio, or revenue that arrives in twenty instalments across four years.

Construction is one half of a development business

If you also sell what you build, the construction side and the sales side belong in the same system — a flat is costed and sold from one record. The construction modules above are part of the wider E-Hishabi real estate ERP, and can be switched on alone if you build under contract rather than for your own account.

Ask your question

What is a real estate developer ERP?

A real estate developer ERP is a single system that replaces the separate spreadsheets and software a developer normally uses for land records, project planning, unit inventory, bookings, installment collection, procurement, construction costing and accounting. Because every module writes to the same database, a booking automatically creates the customer ledger, the installment schedule and the accounting entries, so your sales, site and finance teams always see the same numbers.

Can it track construction cost against budget?

Yes. You can load a BOQ or budget per project and per work item, then record purchase orders, material issues from the store, contractor bills and running-account payments against it. The cost control report shows budget versus committed versus actual spend at any point, so cost overruns show up while you can still act on them.

Do you work with developers outside Dhaka?

Yes. We deliver on-site implementation and training in Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna and Barishal. Because the software is cloud-based, developers in Sylhet, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh and elsewhere run E-Hishabi with remote onboarding and training over video, and support is available by phone and email in both Bangla and English wherever your projects are.

Is the software cloud-based or installed on our own server?

Both options are available. Most customers use our managed cloud, which includes daily encrypted backups, SSL and automatic updates. Enterprise customers who need data to stay in-house can deploy E-Hishabi on their own server or private cloud.

How long does implementation take and what training is included?

A single-project setup is typically live within two to three weeks; multi-project and multi-company rollouts usually take four to eight weeks depending on data migration. Every plan includes configuration, role-based user setup and hands-on training for your sales, accounts and site teams, followed by support during your first month of live operation.
